Backstory:

The newlyweds purchased a dated traditional home with great bones and a fantastic location, but the boxed-in floor plan wasn’t a fit for their love of entertaining.

Issues:

• Closed-off kitchen and family room
• Dated flooring and bathrooms
• Floor plan lacked the open, connected feel they wanted

Solution:

The kitchen and family room were opened up to create a modern, open-concept living space with easy access to the Florida pool and lanai area, perfect for entertaining. New flooring throughout the home creates a cohesive look and makes the space feel larger and more open. All bathrooms were also updated, including a hall bath featuring an oval window in the tub area with beautifully detailed tile work.

Conclusion:

The transformation created a more open, cohesive home that better fits the couple’s lifestyle and love of entertaining.
